    Yes and a lot of them will. But surely every first world civilised country should expect to take refugees? And even if some are so called economic migrants, we need jobs filling. The hospitality sector for eg.

    That might well be why they never want to set foot on another boat again. I think there was a BBC documentary following I think Syrian refugees. The way they were cramned on the boats was scary, women and children too. And they went to a variety of European countries, not just England.

    Here's a perfectly simple answer.
    We have an asylum policy. We have a lot of asylum seekers.
    Appoint enough staff to speedily process them.
    That wouldn't help with Rishi and Suella's only hope of winning the next election though. They wouldn't be able to point the finger at the filthy foreigners and use fear to get votes.

    would have been better to have built one and created a proper medical/ doctors facility for them and locals.
    That would at least have helped allay fears of locals of facilities being overwhelmed.
