    It wasn't Tranmere's second 11. I'm not entirely sure why people keeping saying it is. I think there's 3 who didn't feature regularly last season. There's way way way more experience and know-how in that tranmere team than there was in ours.

    Paper over what cracks? There's 3 players who didn't play very regular last season in that first 11. The rest played plenty of last season. Are we really trying this hard to berate our lads or? We're acting as though our fringe/youngsters are on the level of City & United when in reality they're not, nowhere near.

    Yeah exactly, its a shadow of what it used to be, when it was something that every team used to want to do well in.
    Although they were right to scrap the 2 legs and extra time, and regionalising it to North and South etc.
    But if we're going to take part in it, then I wish we'd play to our strengths and not pi*ss about rotating the squad etc. And yes I know it means there's a risk of injuries and suspensions but that's part and parcel of the game.

    Of course I’m arsed. Im just realistic.

    Also I’m not sure how you could read from my post that I didn’t want us to win. But being as you did it’s probably best we leave it there because we are definitely not on the same page.
