For certain? I could see Chapman was fouled for the second but hadn’t seen whether Winfield was fouled or not. Frustrating if so
2 pretty obvious fouls. I’m starting to think all these letters we have been writing to the EFL are having an adverse effect
The referees can't all be rubbish, surely? I have to say that the constant whingeing about referees after every single game strikes me as a bit pathetic. They do a difficult job. There is no evidence whatsoever of bias. We should focus on our team. All in my humble opinion, of course.
Well they're all trained by the same organisation, overseen by the same corrupt organisation, and all work for the same organisation that has zero minimum standards it must uphold other than providing 4 officials to each fixture. So yeah in my opinion it's entirely plausible that the vast majority them are in fact rubbish.
Fortunately we aren't in court. the pgmol is corrupt, that's my opinion and it won't change. Now it's up to you how much corruption there is or even in what form but it's there within the organisation
Anyone else think he played new timing rules first half and old rules second? I've literally no idea where 8 came from first half (2 goals, 1 short injury no time-wasting). On that basis was expecting 12-13 second half (2 goals about 10 subs lots of timewasting). 8 felt right from last season. I reckon he panicked.....
And the efl are protecting them even more this season, from what i have read, instead of sorting the useless gits out. More than half of them don't even know the basics of the game
The thing is, it’s not always the initial decision they give that annoys it’s the inconsistencies of the punishments. For example, last night Russel was given a yellow card very early in the game for a cynical foul ( not dirty) no problem with that until soon after an opponent committed a similar offence. ( again not dirty, but cynical) he got a ‘talking to’ I used to be ref at a decent level and whatever folk thought of me or my performances, I never treated players/teams any differently.
