Release clauses aren't as common in lower leagues in England or England in general for players. We moan about our players leaving but its same for every other club. Only reason Coventry can spend is because they've had to sell. No point in getting our panties in a bunch over something that has yet to happen(as is what usually happens). As long as we get decent money, move on
If this is true then maybe it is up to Kitch to decide if he goes or stays......no good having an unhappy player in ranks......but saying that I’ve been impressed by him from day 1 and have even compared him to a modern day Gerry Taggart with his 100% commitment, even at the cost of a booking a two when he always seemed to want a battle lol......but some on here are now saying we shouldn’t sell when they have previously said “ get rid he his not good enough and a liability”......hope you stay Liam but we will see what happens and move on....
Well you can. He is contractually bound to us unless he has a get out clause. If we suddenly thought we had a man shaped turd called Kitching on our books, could we say cheerio goodbye and good luck?
Every one of our lads is under no illusion: "We might not pay you the big bucks, but develop and perform, we'll not stand in your way if a good move materialises" It's just a flaw of the spreadsheet that they all seem to go same window. We have to re-set from scratch too many times; just lacking the bit of continuity to take us to the next level.
I think he'll develop into a better player than Mads, he's improving year on year and being our main CB this season could really boost his value, I hope we can keep him for this season at least.
I bought him earlier in the week for a fiver and I've got him currently employed as my naked butler. He makes a delighful Cosmopoltian plus I'm potty training him - reckon I can double my money and sell him on for tenner next week to some posh ******. Khaled you're sitting in my seat
They've rejected the first bid they've haven't said he's not going this window he'll be gone before August has.
That’s right, you have to save something for a rainy day. & it’s not like we have the cash. It’s one thing weakening the team, another thing selling all the silver..
Direct correlation between folk saying he's worth £5m+ and those who said we should be getting a million quid for Norwood.
If Bristol City want kane to replace Alex Scott who they have just sold for 25 million I think 6 million minimum. And 4 for kitching every player has a price.
No way we're we getting a million for Norwood he's never gone for anything near that in his whole career and not at nearly 34 with 1 year left on his deal.
If we do end up accepting a bid for Kitching, I really hope we have a decent sell on. I'd even be willing to accept a bit less for a bigger margin. I think he has all the ingredients to have a very solid career, clubs love centre halves who can run with the ball the full length of the pitch!
It’s funny how a credible post about rejecting a bid, has turned into an inevitable sale.? I just read back through the thread looking for a news update? The usual bloody suspects..
Nicky Campbell spun his Wheel of Fortune (1993 series) on Dave this morning at exactly the same time . Landed on £3m.
