What an absolutely idiotic carry on. All in the name of grabbing headlines to impress the brain-dead right wing zealots who want to pull the ladder up.

Cruella will have to go back to her 'Build your first concentration camp' video on YouTube now

Definitely makes sense to test the water and move people in before the results come back.

Crikey. What's the world coming to? You can't even get a 4 star hotel with decent, sanitary water supplies these days!

Can you even imagine the type of cretins that, after nearly 14years of this shower of incompetents lack of proper governance, would vote for them again, because I really can't. I find the prospect of anybody with the slightest amount of common sense voting Tory as absolutely stupifying.

It appears that Patricia from Bodmin has the solution. I really do despair at the attitudes and thoughts of some so called human beings. It would appear that the tories, the Tory supporting media and the likes of Farage have done a great number on her.

Imagine not only holding those views but being willing to phone up a national radio station, giving your name and saying it to the whole country.

Who was it who said: "Better to stay silent and let people think you're stupid, rather than open your mouth and prove it"?

They don’t want to sort out the crisis - they need it to trigger the idiots like Patricia. Stop the boats? Start with Mone!

The person who owns the docks where this monstrosity is harboured is getting £1.5 million of tax payers money a year. Nice job if you can own a dock

When I hear stuff like this, it's as if former human beings are slowly evolving into a different species altogether. A species devoid of compassion, understanding, sympathy, kindness and generosity. Sadly, I think most of us already know beings that belong to this new species. They're in the pub, they're in shops, around town, on Facebook, on the BBS. I hate to think what state we'll be in in another few generations. Thank f*** I'll not be around to see this horrible new species take over.

The Government ought to be in the dock. Constantly wriggling to try and get out of international agreements and some in government wanting to end the ECHR so we are like Russia. The Government should 'fuc.k off back' into opposition and stay there in perpetuity.

"It is understood that the Home Office is managing the search for alternative accommodation for the asylum seekers."

Here's a thought: If we allow these people to work, and take up one of the hundreds of thousands of vacant positions we have in this country, the home office won't need to find any alternative accommodation. The asylum seekers will find the accommodation themselves. They'll get paid and they'll use that wage to pay rent. And the landlords renting out that accommodation will make more money and spend that money in UK businesses, who will, in turn, make more money and have the opportunity to employ more people. And the businesses employing the asylum seekers will function much better with the vacant position now filled. And the local shops will make more money as another person in the area will have some money in their pocket to buy food and clothes and maybe even a pint of beer. And the government will make money on the PAYE and National Insurance contributions taken out of the wage of the asylum seeker, and the VAT the asylum seekers pay on the products they buy, and the tax taken from the employer for employing the asylum seeker. Not to mention how much the government and local authorities would save from having a fully functioning, happy member of society, doing their bit, going to work, feeling worthwhile, not taking handouts, paying their way, and just living, like the rest of us. There is literally no down-sides from doing this, and a million up-sides.

At least it made it to the dock. They commissioned two other barges that weren’t able to find space to dock so they were sent back. No word yet on how much that process cost us all.
