    Up early, so thought I'd have a pop.

    First away day of the season and let's hope it's more entertaining than the last visit to the Memorial Stadium! Last time out they held us to a 0-0 stalemate, including one of our many infamous rejected penalty claims last season - with Cole being upended 2 yards out, with the goal gaping. And Joey Barton serves the last of his 3 match touchline ban.

    Barton has a stadium ban mate. He may be stood on the building site on a milk crate flicking the Vs to the away end though.

    See a lot chewing gum now too, I thought they weren't supposed to due to risk of choking? A Burnley sub also put a retainer in yesterday before coming on. I guess it's similar to wearing a gum shield, but I've never seen that before.

    I think we'll lose today. Last week was a freak result that papered over the gaps of incomplete recruitment over the summer. For me, we are still lightweight up front and at the back and need more strength in both areas. Not being deliberately negative, just my objective opinion.

    Although, I am often very wrong with my football predictions, so we'll probably nick a win, with a bit of luck :)
