I’m very guilty of ‘know what I mean.?’
    Fortunately, nobody ever did..
Know what I meant. Know what I mean?

This is slowly creeping into the wife’s vocabulary. Proper annoys me. I should try and nip it in the bud as soon as possible but she terrifies me.

'No problem' used in reply to an order at a restaurant or shop or whatever service, used more and more by young people. Like asking for something is potentially problematic.

"Can I get ..... " has replaced "please may I have......."

    Batsperson (or batter)

"The football club". A managerism. "Players worked hard, a great result for the football club"

Usually in reply to someone doing a miserable Facebook post, to which they reply something like "I'm OK don't want to talk about it". Well if you don't want people to ask if you're ok after a depressing post, don't do it.

“Literally” used in conversation when the person is oblivious to what it means.
