Mads Andersen starts his first Premier League game today away at Brighton.

I wish him well but i’ve got him to get booked!

Will be keeping an eye out on Luton this season

Chuffed for him. Morris starting too, and Berry, Brown and Woodrow all on the bench.

Wonder if Jordan Clarke is injured, he’snot in the matchday squad?

I love Mads but let's be honest, he's nowhere near good enough for the Premier League.

From the highlights, Luton looked like a pub team that had somehow got through 10 qualifying rounds of the FA Cup and squeezed through to the 3rd round, to be resoundingly humbled by Brighton, who are a very good side. Be good if they can make Kenilworth Rd a fortress, but I can only see them getting turned over week after week.

I'm sure people were saying the same about Pinnock...

Yeah like Heckys blunts, if you lose at home to Crystal palace then it's going to be a long old season.. Hecky first prem sacking? Not his fault but he'll get the blame.
Looking like there's only one relegation spot to avoid

Pinnock is different class mate. I had no doubt he would step up seemlessly, which he did. Hope Mads does well, though don't see him being as composed and assured as Pinnock. He doesn't have the pace of Ethan either.

Pinnock's final season for us was a fair bit better than Mads'. Plus he didn't step directly up to the Premier League

Anyone with a pair of functioning eyes could see Pinnock was different gravy.

Couldn't believe we had Pinnock in league 1. Best centre half in my time watching Barnsley.

That season under Stendel when him and Lindsay basically played in defence on their own whilst Cavare and Pinilos bombed forward.

5 changes to their team from last season, several forced through loans ending & injuries. I wouldn’t write them off yet. They looked all over the place defensively but they still carried more of a threat going forward than many teams will away at Brighton.

I think it’s also a weaker league than the last few. Everton, Burnley, Wolves, Brentford, Palace & West Ham all look weaker than they did last season & you’d expect Bournemouth & Forest to be in the mix as well as obviously Luton themselves & Sheff Utd who I think everyone’s got finishing bottom. I’d say the other two spots are wide open.

Agree. They were naive - committed plenty forward, but left massive gaps at the back.

I think they will settle in a bit better over the next few games.

Probably a bit like us all them years ago.

Mads was brilliant for us, he is now a PL defender, do I think he'll cut it in the big boys league, absolutely not, Pinnock did but he was different gravy
I've heard many of there fans saying this about "Kenny Road" it holds 10k, I really dont get what they are saying, or are they saying 10k fans generate more noise than 30k, or having crap changing rooms will affect how players perform on generally the same sized grass pitch as they play on week in week out, I hope they stay up, do I think they will? No, down by March
