    Nice lad, never really got a run of games whilst at BFC that would have allowed us to properly assess his ability. I think he joined Bolton in January and he seemed to struggle a little during the 2nd half of last season but he's started this season very well. Good luck to him.

    To me it’s the problem with our model. Players need time to mature. We sign them as teenagers/early 20’s and expect them to be able to perform more or less straight away. Good luck to Victor. Always thought there was a player in there.

    That's been our major problem, we've signed players for a crack at the championship and expected them to do well in an unforgiving league. Unfortunately we've been relegated on a few occasions, however, these same players have then had the chance to play and properly learn their trade at L1 level where mistakes can be made and subsequently they've gone back to the championship as better players and been sold!!!

    I’ll be honest, apart from the 2 finishes he produced, i never saw anything in him. Ball used to bounce off him far too much. Passes went astray. Was always on his heels in the box.

    Clearly it’s clicking for him now though. Good luck to him, apart from against us of course.

    He was absolute pants for us, regardless of whether he was a hard worker, and whether hes also a nice likeable person.
