Too right, but they had an experienced spine in Wildsmith, Mendes-Laing, Curtis Davies, Hourihane, Forsyth and McGoldrick, and arguably the best group of young players in this league in Cashin, Sibley, Bird and Knight. They had the perfect blend. The sort of blend we couldn't afford. And they still finished 7th.
manager got to be ent it?try kitchen up front if theres target men needed and others injured? jon parkin paul warhust.
They have a manager with a proven track record of getting out of this division as well. I do think they had a list of names who they wanted and went out and signed them all, not considering themselves with squad size, which ultimately cost them when injuries hit. They signed good players, but maybe didn't have a great team. I feel like they might have done the same this season too! If they haven't, they'll end up pissing the league.
