I agree what you say about Collins looking very uncomfortable and another yes man. Not sure about Norwood I heard from a decent source he had a fall out with khaled and also him and styles didn't get on and had word in training.
It's a good debate to be had I think. Ironically, I don't think we can do much regarding the financial side of things. We have to cut our cloth accordingly. I don't want us piling up millions of quid in debt, or signing Andy Carroll on 25k a week. I get that we have to shop in the lower leagues etc - that's not an issue. The issue for me is the off the field stuff. I'm not a WHERE'S KHALED I WANT AN UPDATE moron - I just want honesty and transparency from the CEO and owners. And I don't think we're getting that now - and we certainly haven't got it over the last few years.
It's fair to say that I want to stay at my current job because I like the people there, but I will still leave if I get a big pay rise to move closer to home and do an objectively easier job with a year more security. So how's it out of the question that both Norwood wanted to stay, and Barnsley wanted him to stay, but the offer was too good?? Also, don't get this absolute tosh about Collins looking nervous. He's a footballer, maybe town-hall style debates and Q&As aren't exactly his comfort zone. Christ some people will read into anything negatively. Oh and shock horror there was a genuine bona fide reason for Stretch's contract being renewed and it turns out it wasn't a massive anti-barnsley conspiracy to cut costs and rip the heart and soul out of the club. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT.
I agree with you. Certainly a good debate to have. I guess where I have a different opinion to you Fonzie is that I think this current set are trying. I agree that we need tranparency and honesty and I think they're working to give us that. Small steps maybe but I do see progress. We're certainly in a better state now than under the previous set of scheisters.
