One positive from the meeting was Julie speaking about the womens team. She showed lots of passion for it and I don't doubt the club will do all they can to get them up the leagues. Couple of promotions and then Bethany England finishing her career back home? Why not dream big. Although we are brilliant for having women visible around the club, so I wouldn't be shocked if one day she was on the first team coaching staff for the mens team and why not
I get your point, but League 1 and League 2 continues during the International break. Also, never start a sentence with and.
I purposely didn't apply for tickets. As part of the fan engagement I felt others should be given the opportunity to attend. Given what I heard and have read on here. Glad I didn't. We do have the odd silly question. Refer to my previous posts. But most are sensible and to the point. Are we spoonfed prepared answers.? obviously ones that should not be gone into, with too much detail. They do take on board suggestions. But are not exactly the quickest to act. (Understandable given this is the busiest time of the season) I still maintain communication is a fault at times. But they do communicate. I have been in meetings where questions have dried up and Khaled actually begging for em. But we in general ask stuff to help the fans. I notice the anti board brigade Jump in on any issue that suits their agenda. Some fair comments. But few and far between. One thing Gally and others do. (Including yours truly) Is present facts as we see them. Not for the angry brigade to twist everything to suit a cause. Am I happy with all the goings on, ? Absolutely not. But at least given an opportunity to state a case. The question about Iseka. I would have cringed and walked out. But with a room of 200 people (if all attended) nothing would surprise me. Cringeworthy.
Don't believe everything you read on the Internet. I'll take what they taught me at Holgate 40 odd years ago, thanks
True, but that doesn't detract from the fact that most of this new money has been introduced by one man, who is slowly but surely increasing his stake - whilst further marginalising the gruesome twosome.
I really hope you don’t think I’m being a pedant but, in the main, excluding Conway and a couple of the small US investors the injections of cash have come from the shareholders including Chien Lee, JAQ and the Crynes, it’s not just Neerav tipping the cash in. It will be interesting to see if that is still the case with the latest £3.5m.
Only just caught up on this. Whoever asked that question about Iseka is an absolute embarrassment. I’d be banning him from all future events if it were me.
Was anything mentioned about the pending EFL charges? I understand that they wouldn’t be able to really say much, but wondering if anybody raised it.
What gets me she weirdly followed them on Facebook and now when it comes to facing the poor folk she inflicted so mush pain on she can,t hack it.she should be forcibly dragged into court to face the music .
Agree but thats the beauty of these situations, unless you have pre planned questions it'll always happen, the guy ad a question, asked it, an we all have our thoughts on the matter, COKC comes to mind, but all Football Clubs av em, C,O,Y,R.
