Its ‘proven’ players we need to bring the younger ones in. Same old story.

Not good at all today. Deffo missing thomas, mads, luca and norwood.

Lopata as good as he is in the air and tackle has zero pace unfortunately. Givengy also seemed to lack pace.

Also anyone else reckon Russel ought to be mouled into a CH? Hes huge and athletic. Would be a good option there for me.

Many on here think experience is signing a bloke a 33. We need players who have played this league. This summer not once have we signed a player from another league one team who was a better player for them last season apart from okeffe who got relegated with fgr

Russell can play CB, he did so for Chelsea’s babis. I’d like to see him play there because I don’t think he offers much to midfield and I don’t see how he will fit into the side when Lucas back.

I'd not thought about it, but that could actually be a very good call. However, it would probably take a while to get him up to speed in a new position. Time we don't really have unfortunately, unless we're just going to write this season off as consolidation.

The way he buried the header against Port Vale, it's just as likely he'd be good as a centre forward.

Same goes for Cotter. He leaps like a salmon and can't be less of a threat on a cross than our present forwards.

A player who has started 25 games in the EFL for their parent club would be more experienced than almost all our signings over the past few years
