The CEO and the recruitment team including Cryne Junior remove their heads from their arses and get some QUALITY signings made before the window shuts or we are in the deep brown stuff.
All is well and we’re guaranteed a place in the play offs. Loads on here have said as much? If these last two games haven’t brought a few down to earth then not sure what will.
I don't understand. We sell or lose our best players. We replace them with inexperienced players from lower leagues and suddenly we start losing to teams we have beaten in the recent past and make them look good.
Not sure what ya don't understand mate cos this is one one of the best simplistic assesments of the situation that anyone has written so far...
Disagree. Many have said that there’s nothing in this league and we have enough in the squad to make the play offs.
That's not the same as guaranteeing a play-off place though. With the squad we have, and the right coaching, we could have enough for the play offs. I think we're probably a few decent players and the right game plan short at the minute, but that doesn't mean once Collins has got his ideas implemented, we can't be challenging.
Well I would normally consider myself to be in the camp of the happy clappers but any confidence I had in Collins is totally shot. The decision to start the French lad yesterday was approaching criminal.
Whilst I'm peed off I'm trying not to panic panic over Collins yet. He isn't filling me with confidence, hope I'm proved wrong, just a gut feeling but he's starting to look startled wondering what he's took on. It took Duff 10 games to get things really moving, but the harmony, vibe and organisation was there, and we were miles fitter this time last year.
His body language at the fan forum was a bit telling. I try to stand in his shoes. New, difficult job & uprooted a young family to be here. I genuinely want him to do well & stick around for a few seasons. I hope the club give him time, they’re hardly local, either..
Problem for Collins is when things start to go wrong at Oakwell those above him tend to disappear from view and leave the coach out in the open to take all the flak. You never see the CEO or Cryne junior come out and defend their recruitment they just stay in the background until the time comes to move a failing coach on.
Failing coach or failing players? Problem is the same people responsible for recruiting the former also recruit the players and I'm not sure what footballing nous they possess to enable them to make those judgement calls.
Am i right in thinking they have taken the q and a from friday night off you tube, since oxford match. If so why what are they frightened of
