You do realise most of this mess isn’t down to him! He took on a job role whilst we were in league 1 with a massive financial deficit……..as a CEO it’s his job to make sure the club can operate on a safe financial footing…….I’d love nowt no more than to spend on some quality players but I also want a club to support every week too…….. Khlaed appears to be a man that folk target when there’s others that have put us in this mess
Alot of it isn't down to him Conway and Lee started the mess but some of the decisions and appointments this summer are very questionable to say the least.
Anyone know how long before we make up this deficit? We sell players every close season for a million quid or more a time and replace them, mainly, on the cheap. When does some of the money gained start properly funding players to get us out of League 1/keep us in the Championship? Or are we forever destined to sell players for 7 figures and then be told we haven't got any money to replace them adequately?
I’m pretty certain he doesn’t pick players to sign, we have a recruitment team for that……..it’s not his fault that a team have shown an interest in one of our players which in turn has caused him to play absolutely awful last 4 games……..now If we fail to sign a few much needed heads in tte next few week I’ll be questioning the board myself…….a didn’t see too many folk on his back at Wembley other month
“Judge us by our actions.” Nice Guy or not, the evidence suggests he is not up to the role. He wasn’t up to it last year when we were fairly successful on the pitch, and he’s not up to it this season when it looks like things are going to be a bit tougher on the grass.
He needs sacking and we need to fetch someone in that knows wtf they’re actually doing. However, he has too many friends and fan boys defending him no matter what so he’ll be safe in his job for the time being.
I said at start of close season and got shot down a bit. If I were ceo, simple publication: we will not entertain any bids at any price after 31st July. Simple, no bids passed on, our players and they're staying. Two effects, if anybody is interested get your best bid in, none of this, we'll try and see what we can get away with sh!the and it gives us time to find a replacement. Second, after 31st July, players head is in the right place. We told everybody, nobody came in, pull your tripe out for 4 months and earn a move in January.
Great idea in principal, unfortunately in reality it massively restricts who we can recruit too as a lot of clubs don’t do business (sell)that early.
I don't blame him for which exact players we do or don't sign because the owners control the purse strings. However I believe he is fully responsible for all the off field **** ups that have happened since he arrived and there are so many of them that I've lost track and I blame him for the poor communication that has routinely antagonised the fan base. So the way I see it is that if we accept he isn't really to blame for the player transfers but is for the day to day operations then imo he has performed absolutely woefully. If he is to blame for the transfers it's borderline negligence as well
But he does keep spending and coming up with ideas that at this moment are not important, yes when we get a settled relatively successful team the in an ideal world he can concentrate on getting the match day food improved and all the rassamataz
If folk feel That strongly then I suggest you all write to the club demanding his P45 is handed to him then…….a bet trying to run a club and also manage fans expectations is the worst job going, some our fans are borderline un-pleasable anyhow
We shouldn't have to, his bosses/owners should have done the job a longtime ago. This to me shows that those above him are just as incompetent/inexperienced. He has caused alot of damage within the fanbase and the reputation of BFC, he should have been down the road long ago.
