Apparently 3 League 1 teams are interested in him and one of the teams have made a record transfer bid, he’s been transfer listed by Posh.

Over to you Khaled…. You have plenty in your sky rocket.

Bristol Rovers will be the record bid.

Won't be us unfortunately. I cant see us smashing our transfer record on a 29 year old striker. He'd be ideal but they wouldn't drop that kind of fee on someone we wouldn't be able to recoup the money on.

If he got us promotion then the money is recouped. We are where we are because of what we do and how we do it.
Happy to bounce along the bottom.

I fully agree, we can all see that it would be a good investment.

Sadly I don't think the board will see it that way.

If he scored 20+ for us this season, got us up and then scored plenty and kept us up next year then he'd have been well well worth the investment. But they'd rather sign some 300k punt who might be good but might not be.

I'd guess one would be Derby.. who have been after a forward all summer. Lost out on May and Sharp.

They've been taken over by somebody from the middle east. The 'record bid' narrative will be the Peterborough owner trying to make out they're knocking back big offers, when in truth Bristol Rover's, and the majority of League One club's record transfers will be around £500k.

They're also trying to bring in Michael Smith.

And if he doesn't, the budget for next season just gets smaller.

Bolton, they have suitors from the championship for Dion Charles, getting all their ducks lined up, you know that thing called preparation

We are prepared though. We have an ongoing list to cater for quote "every scenario"

It's just that none of us (possibly with a few exceptions) thought we would be bringing in replacements from the level we have been this season

Yeah imagine having a ready made player lined up to come in - the stuff of dreams.
To Quote Neerav "we always knew we were losing Mads" so we lined up a national league replacement

Neerav quoted in his statement several weeks ago we always knew we were losing Mads, so if that's their preparation recruiting a non league CB (who will come good down the road) then Jesus H christ

Would like to see us sign Mo Eisa. He is scoring for fun at the minute. Plenty of experience

Be a great signing, just what we need, a decent Tedic type player. So no chance.

I look at both Bolton and Pompey who both signed strikers from Accrington (recruitment team where were you surely in our price bracket) and scored over twenty goals apeace last season with envious eyes..
How come they can keep their best players and we can't.
