Another thread got me thinking.. do we know how many Barnsley player's have ever scored their 100th 'professional' goal in a Barnsley shirt? And could Devante make it? (currently on 67 according to his Wiki).
Barrie Thomas got his 200th in a home win over Halifax Town. I was there to see it on Easter Monday, 1967. It was a rocket of a free kick.
Andy Gray did. Though without working it out, I don't know who it was against. Edit: March 2011 away at Cardiff. He actually scored his 100th and 101st career goal in a 2-2 draw.
Is this the 100th of their career or 100th of their career in a Barnsley shirt ? Surely Devante only has 20 odd in a Barnsley shirt.
Bruce Dyer's 100th career goal was for us against Sheffield United. In a 1-1 draw at home, March 2002.
Neil Redfearn certainly did, though I couldn't tell you who against as Wikipedia for players that far back only includes league goals.
Ronnie Glavin, Not sure which game though. David Currie i believe during his second spell. Brian Joicey (if wiki is right. Scored his 100th goal whilst with us and it was his last professional goal) This guy scored over hundred after starting with Barnsley, and achieved the feat before he left. And is the only one. George lillycrop. 104 before moving to Bolton. Only Ernie Hine scored more. 131 But in 2 spells.
