Just had an email saying sorry about the delay & as a goodwill gesture we are sending them out in Christmas wrapping paper.
My white away shirt is currently saying it will be shipped on or before this Friday and the 2 mini kits I ordered for the new grandkids, actually say they will be shipped today! I ain't believing it until they're in my hands.
The admins on here will still somehow spin it so that you’re being negative and it’s not the club’s fault
Have our shirt sponsors signed a deal that takes them into next season? If so, and as there seems to be supply issues for loads of clubs every year, I wonder whether we’ve considered beginning the process earlier? Like, much earlier. Having the kits ready at the beginning of summer would surely flog more, to people who want the, for their holidays, etc.
Everyone should get a refund and either go without or wait until the end of season sale. People just accepting any old piss poor customer service won't make the club feel more forced to improve things.
Just repeating the facts that were presented. There are lots of supply chain issues in a variety of industries post-Brexit and post-covid in case you haven't noticed.
If a couple of hundred had turned up at Wigan wearing that monstrosity, they would have thought we were 50 years too late for Wigan Casino with our 'Star Jumpers'.
I get that and get it’s tough. I didn’t create this thread to bash the club (after all I’m in the “happy clapper” camp), more so about fanatics communication, which seems poor at best.
They should keep it for 2 seasons now but I’m sure they rely on the money to keep the club going each season but it’s shoddy at best. Especially when they have had peoples money for the best part of 2 and a bit months.
Sorry that was aimed at Eastanders and his admin spin comment not yourself. Have concerns about Fanatics based on the trust pilot comments and what we’ve seen so far but I was just repeating the issues mentioned at the meeting. Those issues dont mean the communication should be as poor as it sounds like it has been though.
And with that prior knowledge of brexit and covid maybe commissioning bespoke kit designs but required a lengthy wait for approval from the EFL wasn't a very good business decision as surely it can only have put us even further to the back of a queue in an industry suffering supply chain problems due to issues that the club knew about long before designing and ordering this shirt
Anyone know if it's only the clubs that have bespoke Puma kits that are experiencing issues? Do those who have 'off the peg' or standard designs have their kits available for fans? If so, it's another nail in the coffin for our release this year in my opinion.
I get a minimum of 3 shirts every year, this year ive ordered 5, even gorra pink one for mi holidays, as long as they come before Sept 17 i'll be happy, C,O,Y,R
Good luck mate. My 54th birthday came and went last week without my new home shirt which was due in early August. Had to resort to old original star shirt to bedazzle Scarborough instead. COYR indeed.
Just seen a new advert saying new strip every year, so are the 3 new strips announced a few weeks ago, next years. Because they will be by the time we get them. . Somebody at the club must have some contact and clout with fanatics. Is it our good pal Khaled because nobody in shop can help. But when there is a problem he doesn't want to know, nobody wants to know, but people have paid hard earned money for these shirts and i can see some major uproar if they don't turn up soon. One thing for sure listening to the q and a last Friday BFC, do not want to refund any one they will have to talk about it. Their words not mine
