I apologise for coming across a bit strong. I'm just a little frustrated with the negativity on here lately, particularly around players who haven't kicked a ball for us yet. I of course accept your opinion. I just don't understand it.
Purely on what I’ve seen. I’ll be the first to clap him when his name is read out at Wigan or Cheltenham. I’ll support him just as much as I do the likes of Williams, Kitching and Roberts who are too good for this level.
Sounds promising let's hope he can make a difference to us. Did he say what position he played for Grimsby?
That actually is a very very good point. But on here recently, its feels like your not allowed to have a difference of opinion anymore.
As someone who knows as close to nothing about football outside of Barnsley as it's possible to get, who is Mcetee? I can't find anyone in the world called that, never mind a footballer. I can't even find the word 'Mcetee' used anywhere on the internet outside of this thread. But everyone else appears to know who this is. Who is he?
Ahhh, McAtee. With an A. Cheers mate. Thought I was going mental. Going? Thought I was continuing being mental.
My friend who supports Grimsby was a bit more cautious. Says he’s talented but also thinks he’s better than he is. Likes a party.
I think a lot about someone’s experience is about how they use it. In many cases it’s about their leadership. Obviously leadership should be combined with know-how/experience. Can still find leaders who are in experienced - ie Connell
Still not the hairy arsed striker that we need to lead the line unless he’s going to be playing attacking midfield.
Does it mean the end for Josh Benson then, if this new player is a Luke Thomas number 10 type of player. Its a shame for him, but injury prone players can be very annoying (even though they don't do it on purpose of course!). Carlton Morris was the same.
My mate who supports Grimsby :- He was really good in conference. Then we sold him to Luton, he had an operation on his shoulder and they loaned him back to us for a season. But he was never as good. Who knows? Maybe he’ll start bagging goals again. His little bro is at City (was at Sheff United on loan last season). He’s a lot better !
