Didn't say that but slagging watters or dallas off doesn't make Norwood a better player. Said it before 11 in 45 games isn't great we were a prolific striker short of promotion last season.
Goals aside.... Norwood is lightyears ahead of Watters in his overall game And 11 goals is not to be sniffed at anyway, for a guy who played 60 mins or less each game
I don't think Man City would be bothered at all about how many minutes Tedic played for us. There's not the remotest chance he'll ever start for them, or any other club, in the Premier League.
I'm not disputing that but last season if we had a more prolific goalscorer with better fitness levels we would have got automatic. Games like Charlton and burton away where we bossed it created chances but couldn't score were the difference.
Tedic was appalling. He was a complete waste of minutes that could have been used on another forward to build momentum. As for ever playing for City, shaking head.
I was making a point that were now paying 4 wages for strikers that have 13 career goals at this level vs tried and tested 11 in 45 last season, wouldn't it have made sense to give Norwood another 12 months ontop, at least you know what your getting, we seemed determined in our recruitment to base everything on gambles, whilst other clubs at this level reduce those risks by signing players that know the league, I mean come on were no longer signing L1 players
