    Good shouts I think dyer does alot of work in the area at grassroots level not sure if it's voluntary or what but does some great work in the communities around barnsley so not sure hw would want it. Redfern I think would be interested.

    The religion always puts me off Bruce now, but I don’t know of anyone else locally who has such an affinity with the club. Who isn’t already involved with the club I.e. Eaden, anyway.
    Head of recruitment/DoF is a very specific role that requires set skills, it’s no good just appointing someone to the role because they are local/club legend. Needs to be someone with the right skill set.

    Which team are you involved with?
    I know of a few grassroots managers not happy with the LLA, but there’s plenty of “elite academies” out there selling the dream to parents.
