Luton will get points against the likes of forest and Everton. These games won't decide their fate Still think they will make a fist of staying up
They'll pick up some points, they've not been as bad as Everton were the other day. Might get relegated but would put my house on the not being bottom. Atmosphere at Blades stinks, Luton have some optimism about them at least
Conversely I thought Everton were fantastic v Fulham on the opening day and moved the ball back to front through midfield better than any of the other teams in all the games. They played with zest and fluidity I hadn't seen in years. They ultimately lost and got battered at Villa. Couldn't help but think Dyche is wrong man for the job. They play out of their skin and lose to Fulham then go defensive at Villa as a consequence, lose an early goal and get battered. Maybe if they'd beaten Fulham (took their zillion chances) they'd av' put up a decent fight at Villa?
Same old - Premier Ref! Loved watching Luton though! Come back Mads and Captain a winning side! ( just a dream).
Completely disagree mate. I think he is the right man, and it's a myth that he only plays old school dinosaur football - he played some fantastic football at times at Burnley, especially when he got them to finish 7th in the prem. It's the lack of goalscorers what's doing them in. Calvert-lewin just cannot stay fit to save his life, and they've spent so much money on seriously bad players so they can't afford to replace him adequately, trying to bring in players like Che Adams wouldn't exactly fill my cup of confidence up if I were an Evertonian. On top of that, a couple of their defenders are just really, really poor. I think a lot of managers would struggle with that squad in the premier league
I agree. I thought they performed outstandingly v Fulham though. That was the best performance I've seen so far this season. (Without winning).
Think any team facing Villa would have got a bit of a hiding after they'd lost to Newcastle but defending from a Everton was properly dire. Think Dyche is fantastic in his way but budget isn't there, he's not going to be able to form the team in his image and I wouldn't be surprised if he's among first sacked this season. Fair bit of Luton hate in thread but it's like having Barnsley B team in Prem, I'm going to enjoy watching them
Chelsea are back to the level us older end know them. *****. So it's hardly like losing against the best side in the Premier League.
