Agreed, I think they're doomed and need refresh of relegation and maybe new ownership. Teams full of *****.
Dyche would have made a fist of Southampton I reckon.

I agree bud. Some of the chances they've made this season without scoring would be sickening to me. Ironically, I think Fulham are in trouble this season. Yeah they did brilliant last year, but if you look at their underlying stats, for a lot of them, they were in or around the relegation spots last year. Now they've lost Mitrovic, potentially Palhinha, I think they'll really struggle - though obviously there's plenty of time left in the window.

Hiring Jones was mental from Southampton last year, killed them off big time.

They're the poor man's Chelsea. Got taken over. Signed loads of players and now they're feeling the consequences of a scattergunned approach.

It's criminal they didn't get the best out of Schneider and Klaesen.

It's crazy to think about how good that Southampton squad was back in the championship - and even league one! They had some unreal footballers.

Schneiderlin? Went to Man U and died a death, but was amazing at Southampton

Schneiderlin mate. Went to United, lasted 2 years, barely played in second season there, and then went to Everton for roughly the same price United bought him for. Bastian Schweinsteiger was also at United too though, same season I think

Barnsley academy have missed a massive conveyor belt of local talent thanks to the chaps in charge and pushy dads. Dyer is the least of peoples worries. The scouting at bfc is dogger.

Disagree with this too - I think, relative to our size, we've done quite well with our academy. Bigger clubs will just pay stupid money to 13/14/15 year old lads' parents. Or buy their mam and dad a house, etc. Look at Tedic at City, worth nowhere near 3 million, but because he had shown a spec of potential at such a young age, they've spent that on him. We've no chance really.

I'm glad you've said this, see my earlier post. Unless you are in the church group with Dyer and co then forget about a BFC academy place, more of our players get signed by the blades because of those two, were missing out on loads due to these, why can't the owners see this? Dyers has ruined two of our age groups and to make it even funnier, the rebuilt kids side hammered his. Dyer jnr is only in the academy due to his dad, he won't make it - not good enough

Really,? The talent of young barnsley lads is exceptional even without professional training and drilling. Why do you think our lads are getting picked up by rotherham for instance whilst barnsley watch idley by?

Because he promises them the world If they leave their local clubs and join his love Life *****....he will train them etc etc. They go and realise he's nowhere to be seen and it's coached by bog standard coaches. As a coach of a club I've seen this happen to two of our age groups, parents left fuming, broken promises.

You seen the chronicle report where his kid is only in academy because he's Bruce's son. What a ******* waste of a space some other kid could have had.

Of the top of my head mate, genuinely, I can't think of one, or don't know any who have been poached by Rotherham. I can see why pushy dads would push young lads into one of the Sheffield clubs due to the sheer finances available.

I think this is incredibly harsh. Have a go at his dad if you genuinely feel this way, but to speak of a kid that way is beyond unfair.

Believe me, under this academy set up we are missing out on loads.
