    how about the loan market instead of non league punts

    Like with b thomas

    We have only used 2/5 of loanees allowed in squad

    I know we’ve got injuries, but that is a poor match day squad for me….. This place will be in meltdown come 1645. The Board have hung us out to dry.

    We went into the season knowing exactly what our injury situation was, Cundy and Macarthy were never going to be available and have yet to prove that they are good enough so to supplement them with non league players seems poor planning for a playoff final team.

    That’s a completely different debate. They’ve recruited players now. What I’m saying is they aren’t going to go out & sign even more centre backs when we’ve got loads already. If you think there were better loan options & you’d prefer them to who we’ve signed fair enough.

    Yes but nobody forced us to sign lopata, de gevigney and shepherd. Rather than sign 3, why not just get one or two top quality Central defenders that can hit the ground running

    Already replied to a similar post above. You’ve got 4 in Kitching, De Gevigney, Lopata & Shepherd plus Williams who can play there.

    Are you really going to go out & spend on one or two more centre backs when Cundy & McCarthy are expected to be back available very soon? I think McCarthy even played for the U23’s last week.

    To me that would be idiotic when we’ll have a strict budget & we’ve needed other areas strengthening such as keeper, right back & the forward line.

    I’m much more concerned about our striker options. Dallas & Shaw don’t look up to it & Watters looks nowhere near as fit as last season.
