They should have had around 6 red cards that day. Under the new rules regarding dissent and trying to sway officials they probably would. Maybe seeing the new rules prompted them to get shut of Steve Cotterill!
That's as good as we could have hoped for that 1st half. Granted red card has helped. But we looked half decent there tbh Pleased with that. Cotter has a cracking cross on him and Roberts hasn't had a save to make either Hearing boos from opposition fans is a good indicator too
Right... Not having any of the wed have taken a point before kick off boll0x .. this is an idea opportunity for 3 points. Do not let these back into this game..
As long as they’re only 1 behind, they’re still in the game. They were streets ahead of us until the card, and even with 10 they seem to be able to pass it round us at will. I worry we’re not going to go for the kill.
Well we needed a bit of luck....and I'll take it...hope it ends same score. We still look a yard slow to me but have done in all our games so far imho
Good half that. Of course, red card has impacted this but I thought we were looking fairly solid before it anyway, don’t remember too many efforts on goal for all their neat passing in the midfield. Cotter playing well. Putting some great crosses in. Shepherd also having a good game. I know he’s a central defender but I love how he passes it around. Let’s hope the second half goes in the same manner and we can kill the game off quickly.
The red card has helped but it came as a result of Wigan not being able to deal with our play. It wasn't gifted to us.
Only downside is we haven't got a second. Expect a tougher second half, but we have quite a strong bench. Very good display thus far. Can see little problem with the sending off. Tackle from behind & even if he touched the ball he took the man first.
