I've seen a pic and it genuinely looks to be around 500-600, which for a Saturday in Lancashire would be absolutely diabolical. But, I didn't go and we were at a familiar stage of apathy before the game so I'm not surprised, nor can i berate anyone else who didnt go. I'm just glad that the loyal buggers that went got to see a win.
The more time you spend in this league, the more it feels like hard work going to the same old grounds to watch us at. Lots of fans will have been to Wigan away many many times.
Absolute nightmare with transport. I think that the train strikes will have put a lot of people off. I'd have gone if they were running, but as my car is in Estonia (don't ask!). I couldn't get.
Yep . I was all set for the train , decided to drive up anyway and stay in barnsley tonight . Didn't fancy the drive home tonight
Looks a decent thousand considering train strikes, poor start to the season and it being a ground we play at loads.
Given there were at least 10 coaches to my knowledge. And Bruhners link, I reckon 1k at least. School hols to take into consideration. Wasnt a bad following imo. Also if that's the photo posted your talking about lots left to get away as quickly as possible as is allus the case if they've made their own way.
We only do train, except perhaps if cannot get back on a night then stay over with train or very exceptionally pub coach. Chalked off Wigan and Cheltenham because of strikes.
