Don’t usually pay with most companies to return items in my experience especially when you have paid for delivery in the first place.
But then it's the mistake of the customer for not picking the right size, so the company aren't going to want to pay. If what got sent out was damaged that would be different.
Well not all companies work that way. Adidas as an example allow you to exchange an item without any additional charges. I didn’t choose the wrong size either in every clothing item I buy I always have been a size L. I’ve never had to purchase an XL shirt in my life and none of my other clothes are suddenly much tighter on me and it’s not like the club shop have even had any to try on either since kit was launched.
Whenever I buy online, tend to buy 2 sizes if unsure and send one back, no charge. This shirt farce is gerrin worse. Lesson learnt.
When was the last time you ordered clothing through the post. Unless measurements chest and ROP. are provided it can be difficult. Dependent on company, sizes vary regardless of what they say. Only way to beat it. Try on in store. I certainly won't buy online again. Not for that specific reason. But I may as well have waited till they are in store. No update on the white shirt whatsoever. And btw most companies pay for returns. I hope this fiasco is avoided next time. I guess the process was Barnsley went to a third party, Fanatics. Who in turn went to Puma. The manufacturer. Who are having em made in China. The last year of the Puma Contract. I'd rather use a British firm to deliver on time providing it's not ott prices. If I'm wrong with any of the above, it's only guesswork.
I think all Fanatics have bought is the right to sell the Barnsley kit. Delays in production and supply all down to Puma as far as I can see, and although Fanatics have moved the delivery date a couple of times I am surmising they're only passing on the info from Puma. I don't think the kit would have been available any quicker if it was sold in the club shop.
Just wondering if the setting up of the Fanatics contract delayed a direct order from the football club. If so, let's hope they get it in for next year in the next couple of months, if a new manufacturer is chosen and the design/sponsor's sorted.
I reckon it would have been available if they had got on with it sooner. Our kits and training gear for next season should be ready by now to go to the production line and then be hoarded away for 8 months.
I think the fact the club never explained the issue means they knew it was because the late submission of the kit caused the issues ultimately either due or the design or the fact that our front of shirt sponsor was confirmed right at the end of the season.
Not even any in store to try on for size. Anyone know how these fit; I usually wear medium in "normal" clothes?
I was wearing mine round Brid yesterday, a lot of interest mostly good, i did av some numpty from Leeds ask if the players still wore Rufflanders, did'nt av a clue what he was on abart, apparently Pit Boots, but apart from that the majority of the crowd liked the shirt, wearing last seasons away strip t'day
Back home now. Only went to do a few jobs. Went on to Nth Landing Wed aft. Was a touch rough. Trust your keeping well.
Yet another home game tomorrow with around 10k home fans around that couldn't if they wanted to buy anything before the game.
