    Some historically significant sets are worth considerable amounts, especially outside of Russia. It's Europe and America where people are ready to pay big sums. But it is quite a niche market, and to the untrained eye, a £50 set and a £1000 set can look virtually indistinguishable!

    Always driven stuff, from earthmovers to buses/coaches lorry's skips and roadsweepers.. Now take insulin so drive a little van.
    I've gone from 100 ton machines to a 1 ton van.

    I can genuinely never understand when people are being serious, as the actual game of chess drives many folk to boredom, never mind the different designs of the pieces!
