But he wouldn't though. As has been said, if he gets 12 goals or so at Rotherham he's going to establish a career in the Championship and be set for life financially albeit not with Rotherham. Scoring 15 in league one is unlikely to get him the same.
some absolute dross in the championship... Rotherham only need to a win a few and they look certs to stay up
Probably. I find it completely baffling that they're actively trying to force him out of the club, and are happy to let him go to their divisional rivals.
He's their big cash cow at the minute. Be interesting what happens before the weekend and what fee they get. Although I don't trust MaCanthony when it comes to figures.
Darragh's great at spin. He'd claim a deal is worth a billion pounds, but all but half a million of it will be dependant on JCH being the first footballer in space.
where has it been proven Peterborough didnt publish their correct figures, I wonder if rival football clubs dont want to think that little old posh are better at business
I think the thinking is that they do publish correct figures. But those figures disprove the numbers that they claim to be receiving when a transfer is announced.
Can't see them getting that much for JCH to be honest as he's in his final year of his contract. The player who they value highest is Ronnie Edwards and it'll be interesting to see the fee he goes for, if he goes. West Ham are rumoured to have made a bid yesterday.
I'm not saying they don't publish them, I'm saying Darragh's McAnthony has form for making a deal sound better than it has been. Ivan Toney for example, McAnthony said something like 'a deal worth £15m', when in reality, if you look at their accounts, they've only received about a third of that at the minute.
From what I gather its still better than BFC who dont sell for more than 3-4m seemingly problem is we never seem to have strikers who can be sold on for big bucks like Assombalonga, Gayle, Toney etc
But there's no guarantee Peterborough have either. People believe they have because McAnthony is quite vocal about the deals they do. He's clever with his wording. There was a meltdown on here when we signed Kieffer Moore because he'd said we'd offered him near 5 figures a week. Instinctively everyone said Kieffer Moore was on £10k a week when obviously he wasn't.
I thought nombe would have signed for us we have raised the profile of a lot of players in a winning side. Rotherham won’t develop into a winning side in the championship.Any way that’s up to him think he,s dropped a bollock there.
As much as I was really hoping we'd get him I don't blame him for going there tbh. He's guaranteed a season in championship which we can't offer this season. And he's working for the manager that signed him at Exeter that he knows and played well under before.
