How was Adrian Viveash for us? He's a player I'm familiar with, but only recently found out he'd played for us. It was around the time I started going to Oakwell.

he’s the only player I’ve ever seen who was so left sided he even headed the ball with the left side of his head.

pretty meh. He had been a good player but looked very pooor for us.

Yep, if we get Cosgrove, be a good addition. Brings something different to the options up front than what we currently have.

Sure he scored on his debut first game a season in a 2-1 defeat at Palace in early 90s. Header from a corner. I went and it was an horrendous journey down and back.

Right opposition wrong score. We lost 4-3 August 1995. Adie scored but was responsible for gifting them 3 goals. He only lasted one more game.

I was on the way home from Yarmouth listening to a sports channel. The report started by saying "Barnsley entered the pitch looking like Inter Milan and proceeded to play like Inter Flora."
It was the season of our blue and black striped away kit.

I think it was on the opening day of season '95, we took the lead but C.Palace hit back to lead 4-1, and it looked like being a thrashing. Then two in five minutes got us back to 4-3, and we were looking for a point in the end.
And yeah it was the ghastly blue n black Inter Milan type striped away kit lol.
