Agree with all that. Best technical player I’ve seen play for us alongside Fjortoft. Being a complete mentalist probably didn’t help his cause either!
Or maybe the club doesn't actually just always accept the first offer but instead make decisions based on what other clubs are willing to pay and social media rumours of fees aren't gospel. Just a thought.
I hope they aren't thinking that they can't accept the offer because they've told the fans that they won't be selling him this window - most of us can accept players going to better things if the price is right and so they wouldn't be losing face at all by accepting an offer as good as has been reported in my view.
Imagine at wembley you were told.... Your gonna lose both your keepers And all 3 of your regular centre halves Keeping Kitching is collateral damage at this point
I’ve been critical of the club in the past for getting what I perceive to be poor transfer fees. The stand out case been that of Carlton Morris. If people at the club couldn’t see he was a £5m + footballer they’re in the wrong job but £4m for Kitching is a huge fee, I think the board should take it. It’s virtually a new team anyway with the losses of both keepers, Thomas, Anderson, Norwood & Connell (to injury) so while we’re at it we might as well take the huge money on offer.
Good list I'd probably go with the top 3 although we never saw the best of stones here but saw his potential.
Cant agree mate…. we need get out of this league asap….there wont be 9000 season ticket holders next year if we dont go up I assure….so keep Kitch and let’s make a real push for promotion….and if we do go up then Kitch can go for £6 million
I dislike posts like this, I have to say. It's an inflammatory statement, which may or may not be true. You can, obviously, post whatever you like. But you could add some context to the post, such as a source? Otherwise, it just reads like someone trying to get attention without any real basis for having posted what you did. I'm not having a go by any means, but come on, you know posting "Kitch is gone" will generate a reaction.
If (as he should) Futcher had been an England international, we'd never have seen him grace Oakwell for as long as he did.
Sorry for not adding context, young en couldn’t find his footy boots so there was drama lol. It’s all over twitter.
The reaction is all over twitter but there’s nobody reputable reporting it as being done, besides a couple of fan accounts with a hundred or so followers.
Yep, I've just had the "it's all over Twitter" message from a mate. I looked, but my Twitter must go to a different school.
Enter into the search function "Liam Kitching", then go to "posts". There's a lot there. Mostly fans granted, but there's usually no smoke without fire. I've seen it for myself.
