I'm no expert but, I'm pretty sure you won't get much of a new stand for £5m, maybe be able to knock one down for that.

Wasn’t long ago he was deemed a liability, had a good season with two better players at the side of him. I would’ve preferred him to stay but if we get the money reported I think it’s excellent deal. He will have forced the clubs hand and wanted to move. Good business in my opinion.

I admit, I'm skeptical when I hear the old mantra from the board of "all money will be reinvested" etc... as lets be honest, we haven't really seen this.

However, the accounts don't lie, so they can't be taking money out.

Now we seem to have made a substantial profit, we'll see if they're true to their word in January when we can plan a deal or two with some of the money.

If in January, we're still banging the "we're skint" drum, I'll be with the depressed members on here. Until then, this represents good business and a tick for the "plan". The plan being buy cheap young players, improve them and sell for a profit. The only part of the plan where we've been let down in my opinion, is the reinvestment in a better calibre of replacement. Time will tell.

Hate it when we sell our best players but £5 Million for Kitchen is ridiculously good business. Really good defender but not the finished article and I’m always worried he’s going to lose his rag and get sent off.

It's a wonder Robin's hasnt done it in his back garden already the way he was speaking in his press conference today.

When he first got linked to them I said £5million and he’ll be off.

It’s good money for us but now we’ve lost all of the back 3 and goalie/sub goalie from last season. I’d have said give us another season and then we’ll let you go, like we did with Mads.

I know it might not be the most important thing right now but who is taking the armband then? I’d have said Luca would be a shoe in but we’re not sure when he’ll be back. I’m really struggling to think of anyone else?

Probably our most inform player but not so keen on strikers being captains. Let them concentrate on scoring.

Certainly one of our most experienced players now.
