Spending the Kitching cash on a brand new west stand would be a good investment. Especially if we are wanting to get back to being able to sell every seat on that side of if we want to hold money spinning events like Music gigs or Callum Simpson fights.
But the ground is separate from the playing side of things as it stands besides why would we want more seats we can't fill.
According to you we didn’t improve year on year with the same players. We went from being potential Premier League to the worst team in the league in 12 months. We’ve had one season at this level. If we go up this season we will have improved and regardless of who’ve we’ve signed and from where they’ll have improved on last season. First 7 league games of last season, won 2, drew one, lost 4. Let’s see how it compares 7 games in.
We've just had an absolutely tremendous manager. We're still going backwards. This strategy literally cannot work. Even when we've just had one of the best managers in living memory we're going backwards.
One of the best in living memory? I liked duff and I'm not slagging him off but maybe we should have gone up looking back at the squad he had to work with, maybe we under achieved? Still not much you can do when he has a 500k release clause.
If we go up and seems unlikely but it’s a poor league so who knows. Would you believe that following the plan has created a better team that the Hecky or Stendel teams? If so I have a bridge to sell you. The second part of the plan is to bring financially stability and make the club self financing. How would you say that’s going.
Well we’ve self financed this year, can’t see the owners having to put anything in if we’ve got 10m in transfer fees.
I'm a little taken aback re the amount of squad turnover. But let's not forget. Lots were offered new contracts and turned us down either to better themselves. Both ambition and salary. and we cashed in or they went for nowt. It's easy to say if they'd have stayed we would have got promotion for example. But that is not a given, bigger clubs have failed. Who the hell would want to own a football club is beyond me. The vast majority only collect debt.
I thought we only survived from our owners funding us. Sorry I’m lost in your contradictions. Anyhoo I’m beyond bored of this. We have the greatest team ever known a state of the art stadium and the greatest owners ever. I fully expect Lopata to sign for a Barca next season for 500 million and Devante to be snapped up to play in Saudi.
Its easy to compete in league 1 when you arrive at a club which already has players like Andersen, Collins, Williams
No probs. Glad you’ll go to sleep happy tonight. I knew all the back and forth would be worth it in the end.
Surely we have the spreadsheet and now we can look up from the national league punts due to someone else panic buying to L1 /L2 players.
