    Upgraded strikeforce.

    Kept midfield together & new contracts for the two best.

    What more do folk want?

    Well, from reading some of the posts on here over the last few days, we should have spent several million just on oven ready players who would be willing to play for free because we sure as hell couldn't afford their wages!

    On your last point, I don't think we've adequately replaced Mads. However, I don't know how a League 1 club can tempt a player as good as Mads to play at this level, so I'm not sure that was possible We have at least got the numbers in, so let's hope we can develop a couple of them to be of that standard.

    Midfield is just as strong as last season (arguably improved as Styles is here), but with an extra year of development in them, striking options look to have improved imho, and we have more cover on the flanks.

    Which ever way you look at it, it's just north of £10m with probably another £1.5m to come for Styles in Jan and a smaller wage bill. There shouldn't be any whinges about being skint this season.

    We didn't lose them, we sold two players for just shy of £10m. Thomas went for a couple of million. We had a £10m+ defence last season in League One that cost us less than £2m in fees.

    Incredible recruitment...

    Its going to take time for our back 3 to gel and upskill from the lower leagues to this level.
    At the moment we have a virtual back line chucked together heres hoping there's a leader in there and some good communication....its a massive ask and will take time.

    I want promotion this year
