    He's a leeds fan from donny he probably enjoyed his time here but has no loyalty to us, its just a career move for him if he had gone Wednesday.

    That's a ridiculous idea though surely.
    Remember these players aren't fans of this team, with certain likes and dislikes of other Yorkshire clubs. They just do a job when they're here and play for us.

    Each to their own. If I was a pro Football player and had built up a good reputation at a club and had enjoyed my time there, I couldn't see myself ever playing for another local side.

    I was a fan of Mowatt as well, and I thought he'd made it clear that he wasn't staying, even if we had gone up to the Prem.
    And in a Hourihane sort of way, I thought his parting gift was to give us his best season as a player.
    Why its not worked out for him since though, I'm not sure. I'm surprised he didn't end up following Ismael again, to Watford.

    I loved Alex, the lad put some years into us that I'm grateful for, especially with the life span of today's pros. Him, Mads and Cauley showed some real commitment to our club in recent times.

    No injuries like Liam and Carlton.
