Does anyone know if it’s actually full of stock now? I know the kit is supposed to be in but I mean training gear etc. Wanting to get my daughter something for our holiday but not buying that starry monstrosity.
Quite a selection. But if going today, it may pay to have cash as card readers were not working yesterday. Didn't look at sizes, but when I went in after it first reopened. Not much in kids wear. Might not be the case now.
9-5 mon-fri. or if a midweek game. Till kick off. 9-6 if a game saturday. Admittedly 2yr old statement. So surprised it's not on the superstore section.
I edited mate. Like you I couldn't find it on the club site Superstore. only found via an old news item.
Crazy init. Modern technology at it's best. "I've got cash as well" "Sorry we dont accept cash." "I'll go somewhere they do then." Lost income Mind boggles. Not saying Barnsley football club did that yesterday. As cash is accepted at the box office and turnstiles. but have experienced it elsewhere.
Online post suggests someone ordered the black third shirt in XL - and have been emailed to say they’ve sold out and won’t be getting any more. Nobody has even taken delivery of a third or away shirt yet have they? Nobody has seen one, they’ve sold out? Ok only one side maybe, but still. Bizarre. EDIT just looked again, confirmed. Fanatics have emailed and cancelled the guy’s order, and he’d placed the order the first day they went on sale.
It's one screw up after another. Fancy making so few of something that you have to cancel orders that came through on day 1.
Ordered a black away kit 17 July thinking it would arrive for my lads birthday this week, but latest shipping estimate is 18 September. Who knows if that will ever arrive based on the above? Saw the home kit was in stock so ordered that last Friday, again for my lad, having read that it said shipped in 1 to 2 days. Just checked on line and it says estimated delivery date of 14 September. Doesn't look like he'll be getting a Barnsley shirt in time for his birthday! I can live with selling players because I'm not the one shelling out £6m every year to keep the club afloat, however if the way they run the rest of the club like they run the shop, catering and ticketing etc it's no wonder we have to have a fire sale every year to balance the books!
Phoned Club Shop enquiring if a programme was produced for yesterday's historic football match - alas no. Person I spoke to said the Shop no longer sold programmes - assume this is correct - I have always bought my programmes on the concourse. Went on to say that how the shop is run and what is sold there has nothing to do with the Club. Any problems regarding merchandise - shirts etc are the responsibility of the Franchise Holder not the Club. REDS TO JOIN WORLD-LEADING CLUBS WITH FANATICS RETAIL PARTNERSHIP 2023
How long is this deal with Fanatics because up to now their performance has been nothing short of piss poor. Delayed shirts, cancelled shirts, club shop with very little in it (the product range is terrible) and cheap and nasty looking merchandise that costs a fortune (£40 for a long sleeved t shirt and £58 for a hoodie). Club shop is only place I know that has had a 'refurb' and actually looks worse than before.
