Kendall into work and pensions is so depressingly predictable. I hope the home counties appreciate it.

Rayner promoted. She is the best chance of Labour winning the election. Starmer realises that.

He's moved more & more to the right with appointments, but at least she has been given the gig.

TBH Starmer vs Sunak are too wet fish in a pond. Starmer better bloke, but has zero charisma. Not that excited by the Labour reshuffle TBH, but **** the Tories. Even schools are crumbling now. They need to be gone for good.

Predictable. I thought you used to look at pictures of the young Theresa, in the wheat field?

You need to calm down a bit honestly. I get it's your "character" on here, but it's every single thread.

Tories need to be gone for good I agree. The country is in an appalling state but just because the main opposition is Labour I wouldn't hold your breath. All right-wingers save maybe Rayner. No plans to fund anything whatsoever apart from vague statements about best growth in Europe. Even Truss wanted growth. Starmer is a liar, stands for nothing and the blind belief that in such times this current Labour Party will do things to make significant inroads on poverty and inequality is completely unfounded. And don't tell me if I don't vote Labour I'm letting the Tories in. There's a real chance if I do vote Labour I'm letting the Tories in. Different rosette, might be more efficient but NOTHING at the moment suggests any genuine improvement. Awful, controlling, rudderless leadership. Disgrace to the memory of Attlee and Bevin

Who are you voting for then, that is likely to change anything? It is a two party state. I'm a a massive supporter of PR, but that seems as unlikely to happen, as it does in the fascist USofA. God Bless America & Trump.

Dunno yet mate. Might vote green or libs simply as a protest vote against Labour ironic though that might seem. Like you I think PR is becoming an imperative. I am completely disillusioned

just to break this down a little.

tories ruin the country for 13 years, first through a vanity austerity project and latterly giving the cash they saved to their mates… and you want to protest against Labour.

    Whole things a parody.

I think deep down you know Labour is diluted Tory. Hence the conflict in your tone. I'm done with politics. They all **** in same pot. I don't know if you've noticed that I haven't got involved in a political thread for months. No point. I made a flippant remark about w@nking over Angela Rayner.

Shoot me down in flames. I won't lose any sleep about it though. I know what it's like to lose everything, including hope and that's far, far worse.

Politics at low level isn't bent. It's the power and money that corrupts.

It is a parody. The current Labour Party seems like a parody of the Tories to me. Don't know if I'm being lectured here or not but I know enough about politics to know that I can vote for whichever party I want for whatever reason I want knowing full well the result may not be the one I want. All I'm saying, basically, is that hoping that that the current Labour Party will somehow be magically better than the Tories is naive, blind and not geared on recent facts about the party itself. So, if I'm criticised for bringing that up and proposing my own voting intentions I dont think I should be picked out for that.

Not sure I’m bothered if one austerity promoting right wing party replaces another. Yes we need the tories out but we don’t need to replace them with more tories.

well said. Starmer in particular is a bigger liar than Johnson. I wouldn’t trust him to run a bath.
