Batted on to let Revis get a ton it appears - but then he holed out before they declared.

Should still bowl them out you’d hope on a day four Scarborough pitch but it seems a late declaration

The same folk complaining about batting in were wailing when Leicestershire chased down 500! Can’t win!

As has been mentioned there will be a few in tomorrow all day now

Well Yorkshire certainly seem to be one of the Counties who can’t win !!!

Today will be their second victory but they’ve looked all over being winners on several occasions.
There’s a cloud cover over Scarborough so surely we can get 9 wickets today…. Can’t we ?

Crushing victory! Looked a bit misty on the YouTube coverage so good that the umpires didn’t take them off.

Only a second championship victory but they should have had more of course.

    Them were the days !
    Sozzled on 3 nowadays.

However all ale or lager seems to be much stronger nowadays …. Teltleys or John Smiths used to be round about 3.5% and most beers are around 1% stronger today .
    That’s my excuse anyway

Theakstons Bitter is 3.8 and was a very nice pint from the West Stand bar on Sunday. I had to have five to 'make sure' though. To make doubly sure i went back on monday and had a Wold Top from the main bar - acceptable. Then back on the Bitter.
Quite a few BFC fans in attendance with some shirts on view, an old fella with 'Bree' on the back and another fella with an Ora shirt on.

Already planning to go to all four days next year, even if I have to go on my own!

The old 3.5 or 3.8 bitters are proper old session drinks.

I'm sure the old fashioned stuffy members in suits will hate it, but it could be a great thing. This could be of huge benefit as IPL owners have a lot of cash. We could see their IPL players coming here, matches at Headingley between Yorkshire and Rajasthan Royals or buying up the best players as the Man City of Cricket to create a Yorkshire super team.

It pains me to say it but the only way Yorkshire can become the force they once were would be to stuff the team with foreign imports, like football teams do in the Premier League. I know cricket doesn't allow that (yet) but there's no point in relying on English born players to take us forward. Any sniff of talent and England gobble them up and we never see them in a Yorkshire shirt again. Whether the top foreign players would commit to Yorkshire is another matter - internal squabbling, terrible northern weather etc etc.

We do seem to lose players to England more than any other county but we also keep on producing more players through our league system.
Surrey lose their fair share but they’re top of the tree at the moment which is where we could be given the right sort of management.

I get what you say about foreign imports and it’d be interesting to jump forward 20 years to see how the game / Yorks CCC have evolved !

Could work out brilliantly. Get a few of the Royals lads like Jaiswal and Samson as overseas player and have a word with their English players like Jos Buttler to switch sides. We could dominate every competition.
