One of the most painfully boring 'sports' to watch outside of Formula 1. No one understands the rules at the breakdown, load of old balls.

I don't get it. A load of roided up blokes giving themselves CTE chasing an egg.

In understand the rules, but then I'm a ref at Junior level.

I love it, it's a proper sport, physicality, technicality and at the end of it all it's handshakes all over.

Plus, the referees are respected and with good reason, they aren't bobbins.

Nah. There's no way when there's a pile on of 10 folk there's anyway you can be doing anything but guessing. Ball being relentlessly bosted from one of the field to the other like John Beck on steroids. Nah.

    And yet
And yet, football with less men on the field plus a billion cameras and VAR can't get a simple offside decision right.

    Modern football is ****.

Love it played at school a long time ago, don’t fully understand all the rules especially some that have changed.

A bit like American Football, I think you have to have grown up with it to ever fully understand the nuances. Obviously those knocking it have never made the effort.

Personally, I've played a lot of sports and rugby is my favourite. There is no greater joy than winning a close game, body on the line, leaving everything on the pitch and getting the result isn't a high that can be matched in any other team sport.

Some people will never know that pain, that fear, that graft and that joy. Their lives are more bland for it.

So I will be in the pub at times cheering on the oppo just for the fun of it.

As long NZ dont win am all good.

I prefer Rugby League and have to watch yawnion but its not for me and my life is far from bland for it lol. Each to their own in my opinion, but i will add Union Internationals knock spots off League for crowds and atmosphere.

France at evens with minus 1 on the handicap, what a steal against a side that got thrashed last time out.

Seems to be a world cup for something every other month now.. turn it in, don't over egg the pudding..

All kinda merging into one and fading away.. with a total lack of interest..

Personally, it's this type of stuff that makes me not like it. Don't mind the game but the build up & way it's described as some gentlemanly warrior nonsense makes me cringe.
