The incident occurred b4 the end of the game and was witnessed by others. It's in a previous thread.

I know Tykester is a dyed in the wool red. As he has pointed out many times. Just hope he has a rethink and puts it to bed. Gets his season ticket back and roars on the reds again. Pride swallowed on this occasion.

Re the other incident quoted. The guy apologised to the club over his actions. What we dont know was. Did the Stewards report it. as if was correct by the poster they wouldn't have covered themselves in glory either. Hence no case to answer if they didn't. In this case someone else. not Tykester reported the incident.

Yes. He tweeted something to antagonise fans more then went away on international duty before finally apologising a couple of days before we sent him back.
Stephen Dawson who was also involved tweeted an apology much quicker and was made to make a donation to barnsley hospice

Brek was a naughty boy and deserved to be sent back despite his apology.

Yes he was wrong. But I was in close proximity to the incident. Dawson started to come over to the fans. But the abuse he got was as bad as I've ever witnessed. I knew the perpetrators (both travelled with us, one with his young son) and told em what I thought of the way they acted disgracefully. (They went right up to the wall ).
Dawson tried to approach em and Shea dragged him away. Then after another tirade of abuse acted like he did. It would have tested the patience of a saint tbh. And whilst not acceptable. To a degree understandable.

Not to mention players if swearing and acting inappropriately is enough

Thats what I mean - no bans handed out as far as I'm aware. In an incident that was seemingly way worse than this one.

Sorry, I know that looking after the flag gave a lot of pride but that’s gone now. Hope with time you’ll find a way to come back to Oakwell. Take care.

I know folk are into conspiracy theories, but I'm not sure the club are that into banning folk for minor events like a bit of swearing or overzealous shouting. Two sides and all that.

Just say sorry and get on with it if you're that arsed.

You sound like a batsman that's walked without seeing the finger going up. Even though they'd clearly not knicked it.
