It’s a pity he’s played for Jamaica because given England’s current central defensive situation he would have been in with a good shout making the current squad I should think.

    Different player types
Pinnnock and Futcher maybe similar as in playing football and coming out from the back.
Sherridan I always thowt of as a Bremner type.Biting tackles and a bit of dark arts.
Roberts full blooded backs against the wall defender who never took a backward step or shirked a challenge
If big Mick counts id pur him in the Robets mould...
Been lucky with this position over the years..

    Ey up T .
Big lil might shine a better light on Big Mick. From what I can gather from the timeline from big lil. he signed at 16 for Barnsley. And from Mick according to the article I posted, he approached the club himself. There is no mention of Worsbro on wiki. (doesnt mean he may not have played for em btw.) McCarthy's biography might also shine a better light.
Whereas for example. Mick Butler signed aged 21. From worsbro. No dispute.

A lot better than Mings who used to get in purely as he was left footed.

Probably wouldn't get a shout now though given the emergence of that Colwill.
