    Mate

I used to volunteer for them and I know the guy who's ran it since the original Barnsley Ladies

I was sworn to secrecy so I wont go into detail but...

the way Khaled spoke to them in discussions and previous regimes used to treat the ladies... Im not surprised they went their own way

forced out of the town actually

For the last few years they groundshared with Wombwell Town

After Wombwell got promoted they booted em out basically

And no other football club in Barnsley would let them groundshare

If they split in 2018 , what's it got to do with Khaled?

Khaled didnt join the club till June 2021. The split occurred before then.

Tbf to wombwell town. They have formed their own ladies team. And I can't find the article. It said Barnsley women look forward to returning to the town in the future . Unless they've totally given up on hoping to have their own stadium built. ?

Surely that could only happen if both the ladies and womens teams reached an agreement to amalgamate, Given the friction between both groups during the break up (apparently). It was never going to happen.

The terms offered by Khaled were not viable to say the least

The two who took over weren't the most trusted 2 blokes either. Didn't want the junior section of Barnsley Ladies.

I have to say that one of the two sides is confusing me somewhat

"The way Khaled and previous regimes used to treat the ladies... Im not surprised they went their own way" quickly turned to "Khaled lead discussions about bringing them back" when it was pointed out that Khaled joined us several years later

Whats confusing supertyke, can I not comment on the clubs approach to the womens team after the seperation? Can khaled only treat them a certain way if they are under his stewardship?

So just to clarify, there's no wonder they left because of Khaleds treatment of them years after they left?

Just to clarify, as i've already tried to clear up... theres no wonder they left with the general attitude of the club towards the women for a number of years, and no wonder they didnt return with the treatment afterward
