I agree with him the refs are really poor. Wish we hired from abroad, we do with players, so why not with referees? As long as they know English enough to have to explain their decisions or talk over at VAR etc, what's the problem? But the thing he said about Spurs changing it up against Foderingham.. Shouldn't that have already have been sorted pre-match? If you're doing something successfully on a consistent basis, you should expect the opposition to make changes to their system, so then as soon as they do that and option 1 isn't viable, go straight to option 2. Surely it's that simple,no??
Well don't waste time and the minutes don't get added on.. also the referee doesn't put the ball in the net defend well don't concede and you don't have to blame someone else.
And we called it at the time didn't we Ponty, when he lost the plot with us. And he went for his dream job at Leeds.
Signed a new contract with us days b4. We ended up with compensation to reflect his length of contract. He leaves and increases his wages way beyond what we were paying him I assume. Winners all round tbf. Probably set for life with all his payoffs and wages.
