Where was he today? Don’t know if I’ve missed an announcement or something in one if the other threads. Thanks.
He lost his bowl of goulash and went looking for it, because he is Romanian, err sorry, Hungarian after all.
Just back from internationals, Russell, Kane, Phillips and Benson trained all week. Shows strength in depth we have in squad this year. And despite his talent, Styles not guaranteed a start and will have to fight for his place in the team.
He was left out of the squad prior to the international break. Collins addressed it then and said he'd told Styles to enjoy the international games, then come back with a clean slate, get his head down, work hard, and he would be up for selection like everyone else. Styles probably hasn't yet had the opportunity to show Collins that's what he's doing and him missing this game was always on the cards. We'll have a better idea of how he fits into the plans over the next few games. Hopefully he gives it his all as he could be a real asset.
It really does show the strength in depth that we have (and have all over the pitch to be honest). Our best midfielder isn’t training so not available and yet someone of Styles’ quality still can’t get in our match day squad.
It's time Callum and all concerned realise he's a Barnsley player. Work hard he gets a game. Get noticed and he'll be bought by a bigger club (or Wigan). Good lad and good player. Time for a reset.
He is an international Football player who might be spending next summer playing in a major tournament. If he can't get on the bench in a team Herbie Kane is a starter in, then something is wrong.
Thanks for your grown up and mature response. Styles is one of our biggest assets. There could easily be a situation next summer where Styles is playing in the European Championship as a division 3 player. I can't imagine many at this level have ever done that.
If the cap fits wear it, I just dropped down to your level for a moment with that reply. I’d best get back out or you’ll beat me with experience
