Chelsea were absolutely mental to turn down 70 million for him a couple of years ago from Bayern. From that standpoint, he's severely overrated! Done nothing on loan since either. Hopefully this will kick on his career because he is talented
TO be fair though the worst decision of the night was Vincent Kompany when he went into his wardrobe.
Horrendous wasn't it? I really rate Darren England as a ref and as a bloke. Robbie Savage and Chris Sutton are excellent presenters on 606, but I can't for the life of me understand how they both came to the conclusion that England was correct. Robbie Savage thought it was "stonewall". They've all had a mare. If that's a penalty, then defenders might as well not even bother making a tackle as 99 times out of 100 they'll be penalised. Absolutely ridiculous.
what was he on with ? I was commenting to my wife the other week when he was donning a suit, baseball hat and trainers. I’m really not sure if you could get away with that in any other walk of life.
Darren England gave a penalty for Villa against Palace after a very lengthy VAR consultation. I have no idea how Vincent Kompany made an appearance in the thread!
No I was on about the one he disallowed last night which would have been a winner for Burnley, another absolute howler.
The Burnley goal should have stood, it wasn't hand ball. It was very close though. He lifted his arm up so he could control it on his chest
