    Adam Hammill had a greater contribution In a Barnsley shirt in either one of his stints here than James Norwood had.

    That's not disrespecting Norwood, I liked him as a striker and I thought he was good in the play off final.

    But you can't really compare the two, one was fantastic for us across a number of years, the other scored a few goals, gave a few good performances and now plays in the none league.

    By the same token, Wayne Rooney was 33 when he moved to the MLS.

    Therefore Rooney and Norwood are now comparable.

    Hammill is an icon for us. Norwood isn't. Not sure why he's been fetched up randomly again? Have I missed something?

    Norwood was an half decent striker that had ONE season with us.
    Go back over the years there as to be at least 50 in front of him for quality or achievement.
