Watched the game and hes literally and inch behind the goal scorer. Would have scored if the other lad hadn’t been there. Hopefully he does well up at York and comes back and smashes it here. I work up in York so I’m gonna go to their game on Tuesday instead of the Pizza Cup and see how he does then.
I really think they should tie him down on a 2 or 3 year deal. I’m pretty sure he won’t be on big wages & he looks sharp every time he plays. Comfortable through the middle, either side or behind a striker. Bags of energy. I don’t think he’d let us down as an option off the bench & in cup games at first & hopefully progressing to competing for a starting spot in the league at some stage soon.
I'm surprised at this because our fans have been saying good things about him so far this season. However, as its only a short loan it could work out well for him and us. It will be interesting to see how this pans out.
He is now playing against men as opposed boys. He looked very assured when he came on,he as also bulked up a bit too, without losing his pace.
Pointless loan out, he was in the matchday squads. It's a load of ****** this playing against men $hite, it's 2023 not the 1970s. Footballs changed, way more skillful, less contact than the $hite served up years ago.
If he starts some games there it’s a good move. He’s not getting game time here unless someone gets injured
I'm assuming that this is just poor from the Beeb and that Marsh isn't really playing right centre-back, particularly as he seems to have the assist for York's goal? I couldn't make it to the LNER tonight but I've just looked at the BBC site. I must admit I didn't even notice he was listed in defence! I just thought "oh he's not playing, oh well".
2-4 in the end. It was always going to be a small chance of going anyway. In the end I was looking at the sea off Filey at kick off time, ear pods in waiting for our match commentary to start
They did him a favour. York were woeful. We should think ourselves lucky we don’t have to watch that every week. Marshy put himself about well and worked like we’ve seen him do but received virtually no passes. The one he did receive he played a lovely assist for the first York goal. After that I don’t think York passed the ball forwards more than 5 times. Was honestly amusing how poor every part of their game plan was. They’re playing 2nd place Solihull on Saturday so I doubt the result will be much better but hopefully a goal or two to get him firing and get him back here ASAP because what I watched tonight wasn’t worth £2 never mind £22.
Pretty good summary, I switched over on 65 minutes, however apparently the guy who came on for Marshy had more balls put through to him in 25 mins than Aiden saw all game.
