National League have their own Board of Directors who run the governance of the NL.
Same as EFL & PL but your right the NL BoD should be acting.

With the looks of it they've taken the completely rational next step and removed their twitter altogether.

TBF, they could just be protesting Space Karen's latest plan to charge users in advance...

If you'd been born in Sheffield who would it have been. ?.
Mi Granddaughter was born in Sheffield on the worst, of all days of the week. And never tires of telling me.

    Coincidence or not

A Scunthorpe man branded Britain's worst Twitter troll has said he deeply regrets his actions after mounting an online campaign of abuse against some of the country's best-known celebrities.

    Tint im :)

Obviously, the first and best team in Sheffield - Sheffield FC. Or Stocksbridge Steels. The big clubs.

Newest update is a very grim one for Scunny fans. The owner has pulled all funding and said his position is untenable so they are again looking for a buyer.

Sounds good news right? They all hate the owner so new ones should be a shining light in the dark. Wrong.

Because of the funding being pulled, they're having to move out fully from Glanford Park because the owners of the land won't discuss a new least with them until they've properly vacated the stadium, so they're moving to Gainsborough. Word on the street is the owners of the land are going to flatten the stadium and extend the industrial estate is already sits on (so more shops, warehouses etc)

They've also said in the statement there is a massive list of problems for the next owners to pick up if they do decide to buy the club.

All in all, I can see this being the beginning of the end for Scunthorpe United.

Was already looking at moving anyway and announced in May that the club bought land nearer to the town centre to develop a new stadium, they are moving now because they can’t afford the rent without Hilton’s money.
Sounds like a vindictive act on his part to me, would be interesting to know if the two plots of land bought are club property or his.

Be careful what you wish for as they say.
This owner sounds a right bell end regardless of the previous comments if true. But where are the saviours.
    Feel for the fans.
Fake social media can do untold damage.
    Club statement includes this snippet.

Finally, numerous fake club statements and messages have been circulating in recent days. We can confirm that no investigation is currently taking place to our knowledge and that all of the material is completely fake. We are appalled by its content.

do a little digging about the NL board of directors, especially regards covid money. They are far worse than any club owner

Yes. A total screw up followed by a cover up followed by a refusal to even mention it

let’s just say I’ve been to three or four non league grounds in the last couple of years who’ve built nice new shiny facilities they couldn’t afford before the pandemic… all quite a coincidence
