The older brother has been remanded to appear before magistrates tomorrow. Ought to just let twelve random sunderland fans have five minutes to chat with him no questions asked. I don’t normally condone or promote violence of any kind but I’m not ashamed to admit I’d not shed any tears if that lad took a bit of a kicking. Or a lot of one. He’s 31 as well, hardly a silly bairn. The younger brother had been bailed pending further investigation.
Genuine question, not trying to 'ah but' you here: Has that changed since the right to protest bill and the adjustments to policing powers? You might know everything/nothing, I could probably Google it, just a thought.
I googled it and breach of the peace charges differ between Scotland and England. It’s more of a crime here. Don’t ask my why. Which was why I put forward the suggestion as week in week out here lots of people are up for breach of the peace after doing various misdoings. As they say the law is an ass.
Just read the news update he has pleaded guilty to the charge and his defence was that he was high on cocaine at the time. He's already lost his job as a window fitter as a result. Utter scumbag. Sometimes it's hard to keep faith with humanity these days.
His sentence should be to spend 2 hours before and after every Sunderland home game outside the stadium of light with a sign round his neck explaining what a scum bag he is .
Without going into too much detail I know the two brothers personally and seen the watts app group where he states he doesn’t give a **** and Bradley didn’t deserve special treatment. Already lost his job and the football team he played for have also sacked him . One of brothers partner is pregnant and she’s getting no end of abuse . People visiting their home ( lives with his mum and dad). I don’t agree with this it isn’t the mum and dads fault. Believe it or not the lad laughing at his brother holding the photo up his actually (usually ) a very decent lad . But the lad with the phone is a complete bell end .
Hopefully she'll leave him. I can't imagine wanting to raise a child with someone who does coke and thinks that childhood terminal illness is something to make fun of.
"During a police interview Houghton described his behaviour as "enjoyable banter" and said he had "found it funny," prosecutor Jade Scott told the court." "Constance Coombs, Houghton's solicitor, said the defendant was "disgusted by what he did" and was "very remorseful"." Aye, sounds very remorseful.
An appropriate punishment would be to make them attend every W*****day match, home and away, for the next ten years.
Did it in response to Sunderland fan/s waving a Sheffield utd badge. Upset him. Bless. Worra fekkin low life.
Hope he gets a custodial sentence (if that’s possible). One or two inmates might then hopefully give him a good kicking at some point.
There's a few phone numbers on there that probably shouldn't be in the public domain. I know that's been shared elsewhere online, but admin probably don't want the hassle I wouldn't have thought.
What the guy with the image on his phone did was abhorrent. But who put it on social media - have they too broken a law by displaying an offensive image? over to you MR.
