There are chronic conditions that result from acute infection with certain viruses*. Like the one that cause all that kerfuffle 2-3 years ago... (*Chronic fatigue and myocarditis were known side-effects from exercising while suffering from a respiratory virus - even before Covid came around)
I understand that but to do nothing is big mistake, a loan maybe by like for like I ment a mobile defensively minded midfielder not sure if they thought Russell could do the job but he's as mobile as a wardrobe. He gives the midfield balance the one we can't do without I hope I'm wrong but this will bite us on the arse big time.
Why the rumours about glandular fever, when this has never come out of the club? Why would glandular fever be kept so under wraps, hardly a particularly personal affliction, even though it is also known as the "kissing disease".
Don't know how true, but keep hearing rumours he had similar problems in Scotland. Just hope the lad is right. Whatever it is , if he gets back i think he is the type of person that will be just the same as he was before
He did have a period away in Scotland cited as illness, we were obviously happy he had recovered from when we signed him, so hopefully he will again (if it’s related).
